WHAT IS THE 1ST BLOOM FESTIVAL?
Since starting Under the Stars Farm, we've wanted to create an annual event that would celebrate the arrival of spring and the lavender blooming. The festival was designed as a fun, educational and family-oriented experience for visitors and residents of Gloucester county.
Under the Stars Farm is proud to announce the inaugural 1st Bloom Lavender Festival, it will bring hundreds of Gloucester residence and visitors from all over together this summer to celebrate the blooming and harvest of lavender.
UNDER THE STARS FARM
A 12.5 acre lavender farm nestled among 126 acres on the Middle Peninsula in Virginia. Enjoy the lavender bloom and harvest of the 2020 season. Picnic on the grass overlooking the lavender fields, step on in to our farm store where our spa and culinary collection will be available, stroll the lavender fields, browse and shop our local artisan marketplace, live music, pick your own lavender with a pre-purchased bouquet ticket, get creative during an art class in the barn and don’t forget to join us on Friday evening for our first ever Farm to Table dinner.

BECOME A VENDOR
1st Bloom Lavender Festival vendors will be a part of a one of a kind festival. It is our goal to offer a variety of cuisine and artisan marketplace choices to ensure all of our guests are delighted. In our selection process, we strive to avoid duplicates for any of our vendors.
There are a limited number of spots available for food and artisan marketplace vendors and we anticipate filling the spots with the early registration. Click the button below that applies to your business.

Q: When will tickets be available for the festival? A: Tickets went live on 1/31/20 at 10:30am.
Q: Where can I find tickets? A: Tickets can be found HERE or on the Facebook Event Page
Q: Will the lavender be in bloom for the festival? A: Yes! We expect to see full bloom in June and harvest in July/August. Lavender plants are like children they bloom before you know it!
Q: Will I be able pick my own bouquet? A: Yes, however there is a limited number of u-pick bouquets we will be pre-selling on the ticket page.
Q: Is the 1st Bloom Lavender Festival kid friendly? A: Absolutely! Kids five and under are FREE but still require a ticket. We designed this event with kids and moms in mind. The kids will have many things to enjoy like the lavender labyrinth, a puppet show, lawn games like tic-tac-toe, corn hole, and Yahtzee. While mom shops unique vendors and does a little wine tasting.
Q: Can I bring my dog to the festival? A: No, for insurance reasons and because we will have farm animals at the lavender fields from time to time, pets are not allowed. Service Dogs are allowed.
Q: Is the event wheelchair accessible? A: Under the Stars Farm is a working agricultural farm. Gravel roads, grass and lavender fields - some areas may not be accessible by wheel chair.
Q: Can we purchase tickets at the door? A: Not for the 1st Bloom Festival. Tickets are available online now and will be until they sell out.
